Dietary supplement ingredients supplier Fuji Health Science Inc. (Burlington, NJ) is reassuring its customers in all industries that the production facilities of its parent company, Fuji Chemical Industry Company, Ltd., of Japan, were not in danger and did not sustain any damage due to the recent and unfortunate catastrophe. Fuji's headquarters and production facilities are located in Toyama Prefecture, which is in a different area of Japan on the western side of the central mountain range and unaffected by the current earthquake and resulting disaster. Fuji also maintains its natural astaxanthin production facility for its AstaReal product line, located in Gustavsberg, Sweden.

In a letter of thanks and reassurance to the trade, Mitsunori Nishida, president and CEO of Fuji Chemical, expressed his gratitude to the multitude of people and companies expressing sympathy and concern for the embattled country of Japan.  In his letter, Nishida also stated, "A part of our nation is battling to control the energy situation, restore basic resources, and provide emergency relief. We will do our part for the country and continue to operate our business as best we can under these exceptional circumstances."
