An organization devoted to advancing the science of fatty acids, the Fatty Acid Research Institute (FARI; Sioux Falls, SD), has announced the addition of three scientists to its team of researchers. The three scientists joining FARI are Kristina Harris Jackson, PhD, RD, (USA), Jan Philipp Schuchardt, PhD (Germany), and James H. O’Keefe, MD (USA).

Jackson is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who received her PhD in Nutrition from the Pennsylvania State University in 2013. She joined OmegaQuant Analytics, which was founded by her father Bill Harris, PhD, in 2015, where she is currently the director of research.
