DuPont Nutrition and Biosciences (Brabrand, Denmark) intends to enter a strategic collaboration with By-Health, a leading consumer health care company in China. The collaboration would focus on research and development of probiotic dietary supplements with new functions, and joint research on intestinal microecology. Both companies have a foundation in probiotic development. By-Health acquired Life-Space Group, a leading branded probiotic enterprise based in Australia, and DuPoint offers a comprehensive range of clinically documented strains under the DuPont Danisco portfolio.
