Caravan Ingredients Raises $50K for March of Dimes

With a company-matched effort, Caravan Ingredients (Lenexa, KS) employees this year raised more than $50K for the March of Dimes’ March for Babies fundraising event, whose goal is to help prevent birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.

This is the fourth year the company has participated in this employee-led effort. The company says infant health is important to it, as it is the world’s number one supplier of folic acid to the grain industry. The March of Dimes promotes folic acid as an important part of reducing neural tube defects in premature babies.
