Bartek Ingredients (Frankfurt, Germany) will feature its newest technology, Pecmate pectin enhancer, a pectin-based gummy formulation, at the Food ingredients Europe (FiE) in Frankfurt, Germany. The proprietary ingredient controls gelling behavior and maintains stable pH throughout the formulation process. It offers gummies and soft candies better consistency, clean release from molds, and candies that hold their shape.
Pecmate reduces product loss and production downtime and offers more optimal buffering than other commonly used buffer systems such as sodium citrate. FiE is a hybrid event, with an online portion that begins November 22, 2021, and an in-person portion that begins November 30th. Both will run until December 2, 2021.
