The nonprofit's September 8 programming will address market entry, regulatory strategy, and East-West collaboration.

Women in Nutraceuticals (WIN), a global organization focused on advancing women in the nutraceutical industry, will host a day of programming as part of Bharat Nutraverse Expo 2026 in New Delhi this September.1

Silvi Siddhu, Senior Vice President at Ujala Life Sciences and WIN's Regional Ambassador for Asia Pacific, explained the aims of the organization’s participation. “India represents a significant opportunity for the global nutraceutical industry,” stated Silvi Siddhu, senior vice president at Ujala Life Sciences and Regional Ambassador for Asia Pacific for Women in Nutraceuticals. “With its scale, scientific and manufacturing capabilities, rich botanical heritage, and rapidly growing consumer market, India has a vital role to play in shaping the future of nutraceuticals worldwide. We are proud to bring the Women in Nutraceuticals community to Bharat Nutraverse Expo and to support a platform that strengthens connections between Indian and international industry leaders. By bringing people, ideas, and expertise together across borders, we can help build a more connected, credible, and resilient industry and ultimately ensure that consumers around the world have access to safe, effective, and trusted nutraceutical solutions.”

WIN has described its mission as offering tools, networking, visibility and mentoring to support women's leadership and participation across the global nutraceutical industry, with stated goals that include increasing the number of women in leadership roles, expanding investment opportunities for female-led businesses, and growing the number of women in science and research within the sector.²

What Is Happening at Bharat Nutraverse Expo 2026?

WIN's programming is scheduled for September 8, one day within the three-day Bharat Nutraverse Expo, which runs September 7–9 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The expo is organized by the Shellac and Forest Products Export Promotion Council (SHEFEXIL) under India's Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and is intended to position India as a sourcing, manufacturing and innovation hub for nutraceuticals, botanicals, functional ingredients, dietary supplements, and wellness products. Exhibitors and attendees are expected to span ingredients and actives, botanical and herbal extracts, manufacturing, formulation, testing, regulatory services, finished products, and supply chain technologies.

According to the press release, WIN's sessions will address India's expanding role in the global nutraceutical ecosystem, market-entry strategies, regulatory requirements, supply chain resilience, quality and transparency, botanical science, consumer demand, artificial intelligence, and opportunities for collaboration between Eastern and Western markets.

The event also coincides with a newly announced partnership between SHEFEXIL and the Organic & Natural Health Association, which is focused on strengthening U.S.-India collaboration through scientific exchange, regulatory dialogue, trusted supply chains, and responsible trade. That partnership will be marked with events at the expo.

What Has WIN Done Recently?

The Bharat Nutraverse Expo appearance follows other recent WIN programming aimed at industry leadership development. In April 2026, WIN held its second annual Leadership Summit at Sonoran University of Health Sciences in Tempe, Arizona, focused on leadership development, professional growth, and cross-industry collaboration.3 That two-day event included networking sessions, an Entrepreneur Pitch Event, a service initiative, and optional manufacturing facility tours on its first day, followed by educational sessions and a keynote from Dr. Kulreet Chaudhary on its second day, with additional sessions on inclusive leadership, building supportive workplace cultures, and career development. WIN executive director Rebecca Takemoto stated at the time that the summit was designed to give industry professionals the tools, connections, and confidence to lead.
