WIN Awards nominations begin June 1st
WIN recently announced in a press release that WIN Award nominations will open starting June 1, 2025.
Nonprofit group, Women In Nutraceuticals (WIN) recently disclosed that nomination process for the 2025 WIN awards will open and be accessible from June 1-30, 2025. A new addition to the award list will be the creation of an award to acknowledge “outstanding female entrepreneurs.”
WIN’s award program was assembled to provide a platform to highlight individuals who are making an impact in the nutraceutical sector with research initiatives, mentorship, gender equality, and participate in WIN’s programs. Award categories were formed to signify the key mission of WIN which is to “empower women and foster an inclusive, supportive environment where their talents and contributions can thrive.”
Below are the WIN award categories:
- WIN Female Entrepreneur Award: Honoree of this award may be a founder or c-level executive that has shown commitment to growing women’s leadership in the nutraceutical space, a strong vision, and business acumen. Self-nominations are allowed and both WIN members and non-members are eligible.
- WIN Guiding Star Award: An individual who has exemplified mentorship with women in the industry. Eligibility for this award is open to all genders and both WIN members and non-members as well.
- WIN Champion Award: This award is meant to recognize either a organization or company who has “set a gold standard for supporting and championing women in the nutraceuticals industry.” All genders and both WIN members and non-members are eligible.
- WIN Research Pioneer Award: Recipient of this award could be an organization or individual who has contributed on furthering research innovations regarding nutraceutical products geared for women or health/nutrition science specifically for women. This award can be eligible to all genders and WIN members and non-members.
- WIN Heroine Award: This award will honor a WIN member who has volunteered and helped grow WIN’s mission. It is available to all genders and WIN members. Current board members are not eligible for this award.
Presentation of the awards (except the WIN Heroine Award) will be orchestrated during a WIN event which will be taking place at SupplySide Global in October 2025. The WIN Heroine Award will be presented in April 2026 at the WIN Leadership Summit. Nominations will open in January 2026.
“Last year’s WIN award recipients were deeply moved by the recognition that their work makes an impact and creates change for the better,” said Petra Erlandson, vice president of sales at Alkemist Labs and WIN awards committee chair. “More individuals and sponsors are becoming involved in WIN because they see the impact our programs and networking opportunities are having, which makes highlighting the achievements of women and their allies in the nutraceuticals industry increasingly meaningful,”
