Wellmune WGP in Immune Health Bars

Biothera's ingredient is featured in new Praeventia bars.

Leclerc (Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures, QC, Canada) has extended its line of Praeventia immune health bars containing Wellmune WGP, a yeast-derived ingredient developed by Biothera (Eagan, MN).

Wellmune WGP is a proprietary nondigestible polysaccharide from baker’s yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae). Numerous studies have demonstrated the ingredient’s potential to trigger immune defenses and the ingredient is also part of a large-scale EU project on immune health ingredients and the elderly population.

The new Praeventia bars are available in Nut Burst and Nuts & Dark Chocolate Chip 70% Cocoa versions. Each bar contains 100 mg of Wellmune WGP and 5 g of protein.
