Vitamin K2 Researcher Recognized by ResearchGate

ResearchGate, a networking firm dedicated to the research community, has named renowned vitamin K2 researcher, Cees Vermeer, PhD, among “the top 2.5% of all scientists worldwide.”

Vermeer is professor of the Cardiovascular Research Institute Maastricht at the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands, as well as CEO of Netherlands-based research firm VitaK BV. He is also a longtime research partner of dietary supplements ingredients supplier NattoPharma ASA (Oslo, Norway), which supplies its MenaQ7 brand of vitamin K2. Recently, Vermeer led a research team on a three-year, 244-patient study on MenaQ7 that found benefits for bone health in postmenopausal women.
