Vedic Lifesciences (Redwood Shores, CA) is extending its free clinical trial design consultations on dietary supplements and functional food products to one additional quarter.
Through its nutritional research assistance program, the company will provide free clinical trial designs and feasibility studies for any two supplements or functional food products with the intent to substantiate a client’s proposed claim statement. Vedic Lifesciences will design a small human study to be used in publications and/or submission to regulatory authorities. All human data is said to be compliant with international standards and Good Clinical Practices (GCP).
After free consultation, decision to continue with studies is optional.
Vedic Lifesciences is currently conducting four multi-center studies with a single company regarding claims relating to human growth hormone and sexual enhancement. The Canadian client was able to substantiate FTC and Health Canada label claims for a branded dietary supplement following previous work with Vedic Lifesciences.
