SupplySide West Review: AIDP Talks about Magtein Patents

At SupplySide West, AIDP’s (City of Industry, CA) Guosong Liu, MD, PhD, talked about the company’s Magtein magnesium L-threonate ingredient and recent patents filed in the area of cognitive health. The company recently obtained U.S. patents linking magnesium compositions and cognitive function and neurological disorders. Additionally, said Dr. Liu, his research lab is investigating magnesium’s effects on human longevity. “Our goal is to look for repair capabilities for antiaging,” he said. “Our research shows that magnesium in the brain promotes neurogenesis, or the regeneration of cells.”
