PureCircle (Chicago, IL) has introduced a new stevia ingredient called Sigma Syrup, which is an optimized blend of its stevia leaf ingredients, including Reb M, that is proprietary to PureCircle. Valuable to beverage and food companies, Sigma Syrup overcomes solubility challenges when using stevia in products such as syrups and liquid tabletop sweeteners.

Additionally, in order to enhance its customer support to Latin American food and beverage companies, PureCircle is opening a new office and innovation lab in Brazil, located in Sao Paulo. This facility will provide formulation support to the firm’s Latin American customers, increasing speed to market, as well as providing formulation expertise catered specifically to the needs of the South American market.
