Certified Nutraceuticals, Inc. (Temecula, CA) announced the issuance of US Patent Number 10,287,339 B2 for its KollaJell ingredient. The company filed for patent protection in January of 2019. KollaJell is a hydrolyzed jellyfish collagen powder composed of collagen Type I, II, and V, with a unique amino acid profile.

According to the company, the collagen from jellyfish is the only type of collagen to contain the amino acid tryptophan as well as a significant amount of glutamic acids, important for brain function, and serine. KollaJell is bound with natural essential minerals, and naturally contains chondroitin, hyaluronic acid, mucopolysaccharides, and glucosamine.
