Nutritional Outlook welcomes Osvaldo Marinotti, PhD, senior biochemist for CV Sciences, to editorial advisory board

Nutritional Outlook welcomes Osvaldo Marinotti, PhD, senior biochemist for CV Sciences (San Diego, CA), to its editorial advisory board (EAB). Marinotti earned his PhD in biochemistry from the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil, where he also earned his MSc in biochemistry and BSc in biology. He has over 30 years of research experience as well as an extensive record of scientific publications and international collaborations. In addition to his position at CV Sciences, Marinotti founded and leads research at MTEKPrime, a research consultancy specializing in biotechnology, genetic engineering, molecular biology, and biochemistry.

Prior to Marinotti, Duffy MacKay, ND, represented CV Sciences on the EAB as its senior vice president of scientific and regulatory affairs. MacKay will continue to be an EAB member, representing the Consumer Healthcare Products Association (CHPA; Washington, D.C.) as its senior vice president of dietary supplements.
