April 25, 2011

The company says that Dragon’s blood extract, standardized to taspine, stimulates the early phase of wound healing by stimulating fibroblasts.

Naturex (Avignon, France) has introduced a new Dragon’s blood (Croton lechleri) extract that the company says protects and rejuvenates skin tissue due to a high proanthocyanadin content.

The company says that Dragon’s blood extract, standardized to taspine, stimulates the early phase of wound healing by stimulating fibroblasts. It says that Dragon’s blood sap helps protect skin cells and regenerate skin tissue. The company adds that the ingredient's skin-protection effects are backed by in vitro and ex vivo studies.
