Embria Receives NSF Certification

Embria Health Sciences (Ankeny, IA), manufacturer of the immune health ingredient Epicor, has earned GMP registration certification from NSF International. Before the certification was earned, Embria’s manufacturing process underwent and passed a review conducted by an NSF auditor.

"While Embria is not required to have this certification, we believe it’s an important added benefit that will help manufacturers comply with FDA requirements for supplier qualification," said Embria quality research scientist Gayle Kittelson.
