Cyvex Nutrition and Eevia Health announce partnership to bring "extra strength" elderberry extract to the North American marketplace

An extra strength elderberry extract called Feno-Sambucus 30 will now be able to be brought into the North American market through a strategic partnership from Cyvex Nutrition and Eevia Health.

In a recent press release, Cyvex Nutrition, a member of the Bioriginal Group of Companies, announced that the company had formed a strategic partnership with Eevia Health Plc, to introduce Feno-Sambucus 30, an extra strength, potent, and excipient-free elderberry extract, into the North American market.1 Elderberry is known for having potential benefits in supporting immune health. Feno-Sambucus 30 contains more than 30% anthocyanins and more than 50% total polyphenols, as well as high levels of proanthocyanidins. Due to its potent formulation, it lowers dosage volumes, which may help manufacturers with cost-efficiency and create new formulations. In vitro testing from an accredited third-party lab has also shown that the extract demonstrates superior bioactivity across 148 human biomarkers.

Feno-Sambucus 30 was crafted through the proprietary extraction and purification process from Eevia Health. According to the company, its process removes nearly all sugars and organic acids. Virtually sugar-free and free of excipients, the extract is a good candidate for clean-label applications. Additionally, the company states that the extract is manufactured in Finland using green-chemistry methods, as well as elderberry cultivated in Europe, giving it one of the lowest carbon footprints in the industry.

“Feno-Sambucus 30 fits perfectly into our mission of delivering nature-made, science-backed ingredients,” said Matt Phillips, president of Cyvex Nutrition.1 “It’s not just about potency; it’s about delivering purity, sustainability, and validated bioactivity. This partnership allows us to bring those benefits to North American manufacturers developing the next generation of immune health products.”
