Biothera Names China Distributor

Immune-health ingredients supplier Biothera (Eagan, MN) and its Hong Kong–based distributor Maxland Enterprises have named Shanghai Toong Yeuan Food Technology Company, Ltd., as the China distributor for Biothera ingredients for food, beverages, and supplements.

Biothera’s Wellmune WGP beta 1,3/1,6 glucan ingredient, derived from a proprietary strain of baker’s yeast, is supported by nine clinical studies demonstrating safety and efficacy. The ingredient has been shown to boost the performance of key immune cells.

Biothera CEO Richard Mueller says Shanghai Toong Yeuan’s well-established relationships with major food, beverage, and supplement companies in China made the company an ideal choice as distributor.
