The company says that the tinctures are quickly absorbed by the body.
Dietary supplements marketer Ayush Herbs has revamped the formula for it liquid herbal supplements, which comprise alcohol-free, glycerin-based drops, for easier application. The company says supplement drops are an ideal alternative for individuals, including children, who have difficulty swallowing capsules.
The company says that the tinctures are quickly absorbed by the body. “It takes the system at least 30 minutes to break down and assimilate capsules, while herbal tincture extracts enter the bloodstream within minutes through the saliva,” says company CEO and naturopath physician Virender Sodhi, MD. “This is especially important for individuals with weak digestion, as the digestive process is bypassed.”
The drops can be added to foods and beverages such as smoothies, soups, yogurt, juice, or tea-or it can be taken directly under the tongue.
