Stevia Producer Develops Flavor Modifier

Article

The flavor modifier has been cleared by U.S. regulators and those in other countries and is now being marketed globally.

PureCircle (Chicago) has launched a new natural flavor modifier, NSF-02, for use with its stevia products in combination with sugar or high-fructose corn syrup.

The company says that NSF-02 is specifically designed to work with its line of high-purity stevia sweeteners, Reb A and SG-95, in combination with sugar or high-fructose corn syrup, by enhancing sweetness. It says the combination of these sweeteners and NSF-02 “delivers a range of better-tasting, low-cost, natural product formulations, with reduced calories.”

The flavor modifier has been cleared by U.S. regulators and those in other countries and is now being marketed globally.

“NSF-02 is the first natural flavor that is breakthrough in its ability to help stevia, across various applications, to naturally reduce calories in the food and beverage industry,” stated PureCircle CEO Magomet Malsagov.
