For The Biome, a new wellness company started by Paul Schulick, the founder of New Chapter, has announced a partnership with Algatech (Harrison, NY), a microalgae supplier known for its AstaPure Astaxanthin. For The Biome is a botanical skincare company, previously announced in September of 2018 as byOM life, following the Schulick’s departure from Procter and Gamble.

"Our next venture with Algatech will bring unimagined innovations to the field of beauty and natural skincare," said Schulick, in a press release. "The skin is the body's largest organ and functions as its 'third brain' as an extension of the human microbiome. Beauty is truly an expression of deep cellular health, as well as harmony with the expansive hologenome, whose ebb and flow nourishes us all."

“Algatech is proud to collaborate with For The Biome on topical applications in order to bring the benefits of microalgae to the world. This partnership will provide new and innovative solutions for the skin, starting with AstaPure Astaxanthin, a premium natural astaxanthin," said Hagai Stadler, CEO of Algatech, in a press release. “The same protective factors that let microalgae develop and remain shielded from exogenous damage for billions of years will also be employed to support the integrity and beauty of the skin in this new partnership.”

For The Biome is expected to officially launch in summer of 2019, according to the company’s website.
