Verdure Sciences (Noblesville, IN) has issued a white paper on its Boswellia serrata research, with a focus on human bioavailability. The paper also focuses on Wokvel, a trademarked boswellian extract said to preserve the natural spectrum of active compounds

The company says that work recently published by university laboratories in Japan and Germany suggest that the bulk of Boswellia serrata’s gum resin activity is based on more than 20 compounds that are structurally related to the triterpene boswellic acids that offer benefits for joint and bone health.
