Dietary supplements marketer Thorne Research Inc., which largely serves the healthcare practitioner market, has acquired exclusive global rights to market Q-Cell, which the company calls a high-bioavailability CoQ10 supplement.
The company says that Q-Cell, formerly marketed under the name Q-Best, features a unique, tri-lipid gel-based formulation that increases absorption by up to tenfold when compared with dry-powder CoQ10 supplements. The company says that Q-Cell’s formulation enables the soft gel to prevent crystallization, which can often disrupt the absorption process when metabolized in humans.
