Taura to Launch Ancient Grain and Fruit Inclusions

Taura Natural Ingredients (Olen, Belgium) will launch URC Inclusions, combination inclusions of ancient grains and fruit and vegetables, at next week’s Functional Ingredients Europe (FiE) show in Paris.

Citing rising U.S. and European consumer interest in ancient grains-including amaranth, quinoa, and chia-Taura believes its innovation will be one of the first to address this growing trend through a variety of food applications. URC Inclusions will be customizable for grains such as quinoa, amaranth, and chia, and various fruit and vegetable concentrates. Different flavors, textures, and visual contrasts are available. Possible applications include snacks, baked goods, breakfast cereals, and confectionery.
