The GRAS sweetener is free of bitterness, flavorings, and masking agents.
Healthco (Bloomingdale, IL), the ingredients division of NOW Foods, has named Stauber Performance Ingredients Inc. its exclusive distributor of Stevia FSE organic, zero-calorie, enzyme-treated stevia sweetener.
Stevia FSE is a fine, white, spray-dried, crystalline powder derived from Glucosyl Stevioside, an enzymatically-enhanced extract of the stevia leaf (Stevia rebaudiana), that is billed to be 60-100 times sweeter than standard sucrose. Healthco’s proprietary enzymatic rendering process preserves taste and sweetness but virtually eliminates the bitter aftertaste associated with typical Reb A Stevia products. The process also helps retain the product's full-spectrum phytochemical features.
Stevia FSE delivers 95% glucosylated steviosides and is suited for use as a stand-alone personal sweetener, or in bulk beverage or food applications. It is certified organic, GRAS, NOP Certified Organic, Kosher and Halal.
