Silliker Inc. (Chicago) says it is adding new locations and growing its services to better serve dietary supplement manufacturers worldwide.
The company has started construction on a new laboratory in Crete, IL, which will house research and development activities as well as a commercial testing laboratory. The firm says that when completed next year, the 71,000-sq-ft facility will be one of the largest food testing laboratories in the United States.
“The Crete laboratory will be our most sophisticated building and will serve as a blueprint for future Silliker developments both here and abroad,” stated Johannes Burlin, president of Silliker North America, in a press release.
