PureCircle Turns Up Production of Newest Steviol Glycoside

Stevia specialist PureCircle (Chicago) says it is increasing production of PureCircle Alpha, a steviol glycoside intended for deeper calorie reductions in food and beverage products. The company launched PureCircle Alpha in September 2011, but products using the natural sweetener are expected to hit stores as early as June.

For those interested in PureCircle Alpha, the company has made the ingredient available in several ready-to-go formulations, including carbonated soft drinks, tea products, and dairy products.
