OmniActive Named NBT Awards Finalist for Environmentally Friendly Marigold Production

OmniActive Health Technologies (Morristown, NJ) has once again been named a finalist in the Nutraceutical Business & Technology Awards-this time for environmental excellence. The awards will be presented at the upcoming Vitafoods trade show in Geneva, Switzerland, in May. Other finalists in the environmental excellence category are Croda, IRB Tech, Seagreens Ltd., and Algea AS.

OmniActive was selected as a finalist after showing that it has been environmentally innovative concerning production of the marigolds used in its Lutemax range of free lutein and lutein ester ingredients. The company has undertaken advances in biodiversity, conservation, reduced waste, and increased energy efficiency.
