Nutraceuticals International Group Teams with European Fishery

Nutraceuticals International Group (Paramus, NJ) has announced a joint venture with the French fishery Compagnie des Pêches Saint-Malo to research and develop marine ingredients for human health.

Descended from a long tradition of cod fishing, Compagnie des Pêches Saint-Malo is certified for ISO 9000, 9002, 9001:2000, 14001, and 22000 standards. In 2011, the company also secured sustainable seafood certification under the Marine Stewardship Council.

Nutraceuticals International Group says it chose to work with the French company because of its commitment to traceability.
