Following the SupplySide West trade show, NP Nutra (Rancho Dominguez, CA) is reporting on trends in the fruit and vegetable space.
Freeze-dried ingredients are generating a lot of interest, the company says, with the firm seeing demand for its NutraPure range that includes acai, artichoke, blueberry, cranberry, and peach.
Coconut products are still very much in trend, with the company’s CocoJiva and organic coconut water freeze-dried ingredient seeing strong interest. “Also of note was the plethora of omega-3 sources on offer from chia, blackcurrant, and sea buckthorn, to NP Nutra’s own SachaOmega, a proprietary cold-pressed Sacha Inchi oil with 92% essential fatty acids omega 3:6:9,” the company reports.
Moreover, the company said it launched three additions to its signature NutraGrass range: a proprietary young wheatgrass juice product, organically grown and rich in chlorophyll; XandraPure, an organic water-soluble Schisandra extract; and CranPhyto, a freeze-dried cranberry powder with 4.36% PACs.
