Norwegian Company Launches Omega-3 Effervescent with DSM

Delante Health AS (Bergen, Norway) has launched a new omega-3 effervescent technology with ROPUFA brand fish oil omega-3 from DSM Nutritional Products (Parsippany, NJ).

Called LipidFizz, Delante’s technology provides a supply of the omega-3s DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) for beverages in what DSM states is a tasteless and odorless fish oil derivative.

The lack of a fishy aftertaste occurs because of low oxidization parameters, says DSM.

Delante’s LipidFizz technology utilizes DSM’s powder in powder or tablet form which is said to provide over 18 months of shelf life.
