Nordic Naturals has introduced vitamin D3 gummy vitamins in a wild berry flavor. The vitamin D is sourced from cholecalciferol, which the firm calls the natural form of vitamin D preferred for optimal absorption. Each serving of gummies provides 1000 IU of vitamin D. The pectin-based supplements are gelatin free and do not contain artificial coloring, flavoring, or preservatives. Vitamin D plays a key role in the absorption of calcium and phosophorous, minerals critical to bone health. It also supports immune health and the hormones that regulate mood and sleep, the firm says.
