New VSI Plant to Boost Nutrition Bar Production

The Netherlands-based facility will boost VSI's nutrition bar production to an estimated 250 to 350 million bars each year.

Nutrition bar contract manufacturer VSI (Leerdam, the Netherlands) has opened a new production plant in Leerdam for the international nutrition and energy bars market. Projecting a January 2012 opening, the Leerdam plant is expected to boost the company's nutrition bar output to a range of 250 to 350 million bars each year.
