A new line of explosion-proof control panels can be used on equipment such as the company’s ultra-high shear mixers.
Ross SysCon (Savannah, GA), one of five U.S. manufacturing facilities under the Charles Ross & Son Co. (Hauppauge, NY) company, has introduced a new line of explosion-proof control panels for use on equipment such as the company’s ultra-high shear mixers.
The company says the panels are designed to be mounted closer to the mixer in a hazardous area and wired to a variable frequency drive that is installed outside the mixing room. The operator station includes a digital readout for speed and cycle time in a new interface and compact design. Type X or Z purge-control panels are also available for those who require mixer portability with no remote wiring.
