Naturex Acquires Burgundy Botanical Extracts

Naturex SA (Avignon, France) has announced its acquisition of Burgundy Botanical Extracts (Reyssouze, France), a
Burgundy’s botanical extracts include grape seed and cranberry extracts a patented hibiscus extract for urinary tract infections (UTIrose), and a harpagophytum extract for arthrosis and joint diseases (Iridoforce).
Burgundy operates two European production sites: one in France and one in Spain. The company reached total revenue of 14 million euro over the last 12 months, according to Naturex.
