A former P.L. Thomas scientific director takes the helm.
Vitamin K2 supplier NattoPharma ASA (Oslo, Norway) has named Vladimir Badmaev, MD, PhD, as its new head of R&D.
Badmaev previously served as vice president of medical and scientific affairs for Sabinsa Corp. and scientific director of P.L. Thomas. He has authored or coauthored 70 scientific articles, 13 books, 13 U.S. and international patents, and 9 new dietary ingredient (NDI) applications with FDA, according to NattoPharma.
Badmaev will guide research and product development for NattoPharma’s branded vitamin K2 ingredient, MenaQ7.
