Natural Plant Products (NPP; Salem, OR) is the newest member of the U.S.-China Health Products Association (USCHPA) board of directors. USCHPA made the announcement earlier this week, noting that it adds scope to the association’s mission with a specialist from the personal care sector.
A manufacturing and marketing subsidiary of OMG, a co-op of 50 Oregon farms, NPP supplies various oil-based ingredients to the cosmetics and personal care industries, including meadowfoam seed oil. In 2011 the company began marketing daikon radish oil produced from radish seeds.

September 10th 2024The study focused on the adulteration of black cohosh rhizome, echinacea root or herb, elder berry, ginkgo leaf, and turmeric root/rhizome. The authors reviewed 78 publications with a total of 2995 samples. Of the 2995 samples, 818 were reported to be adulterated or mislabeled.
