Dietary ingredients supplier Maypro Industries (Purchase, NY) is making an investment in kosher botanical and nutraceutical ingredients in a big way, by opening a new subsidiary specifically focused on this category. The new subsidiary started operations in January.
“We’ve received a number of requests for kosher ingredients,” says Donna Battaglia, the company’s director of sales. “Opening this subsidiary was necessary, as it will comply with strict procedures for proper handling, storage, and shipment of kosher ingredients.”
The ingredients adhere to KOF-K standards, an international kosher certification program.
