Lycored Flavor Enhancer Ready for Powdered, Canned Soups
Lycored's Sante ingredient can provide natural flavor enhancement while allowing for salt reduction in various food products.
Lycored (Beer Sheva, Israel) says that its innovative ingredient Sante is now suitable for reducing salt and enhancing flavor naturally in powdered and canned soups.
Sante is a result of isolating the flavor-enhancing compounds in tomatoes. The company says its ingredient can boost flavor and allow for salt reduction up to 30% in soups, achieving both feats without lingering tomato flavors for the consumer.
Lycored’s Sante can eliminate the need for MSG and other flavor enhancers in a variety of food applications. A list of potential applications is available at the link above.
