Lonza (Basel, Switzerland) announced plans to acquire microbial-control active ingredients supplier Arch Chemicals. According to Lonza, the acquisition will make the company the world’s leading microbial-control business.
“Lonza and Arch Chemicals offer highly complementary products and technologies and together will be the global leader in controlling unwanted microbes,” stated Lonza CEO Stefan Borgas.
