Indena’s (Milan) Meriva curcumin ingredient, touted for its advanced bioavailability, was voted best new product of the year by the European Outsourcing Awards. Among other things, the program recognizes innovations that enhance existing therapeutics for disease conditions.

Meriva utilizes Phytosome technology to improve bioavailability. The ingredient’s enhanced bioavailability has been shown in published research to be more than twenty-fold compared with standardized curcumin extracts.
