Steviva Brands introduces two new sweetening solutions for zero-calorie and mid-calorie food manufacturers.
Steviva Brands Inc. (Portland) continues to expand its line of stevia-based sweetener concepts. At July’s IFT Food Expo, the company introduced two new solutions that can serve as either market-ready sweetener products or ingredient solutions for food and beverage manufacturers.
The company introduced a finer-powder version of its Steviva blend of stevia and erythritol. Steviva can be used as a 1:2 sugar replacement in baked goods, sauces, beverages, and numerous other uncooked applications. The availability of a finer version allows for a 1:1 replacement that can even be used to powder donuts.
Another new launch is Nectevia, a stevia product fortified with organic blue agave nectar. Nectevia is best suited for baking and beverage applications (hot and cold), and it’s non-crystallizing and quick-dissolving. Nectevia can appeal as a vegan alternative to honey and a low-glycemic sweetener for diabetics.
Contact Steviva Brands for more information on its extended range of non-GMO sweetening solutions for zero-calorie and mid-calorie formulations.
