Gnosis By Lesaffre brings vitamin K2 expertise to Natural Products Expo West

At next week’s Natural Products Expo West trade show in Anaheim, CA, Gnosis By Lesaffre (Marcq-en-Baroeul, France; East Brunswick, NJ) will meet with industry to discuss its latest achievements in vitamin K2 innovation, the company says.

Gnosis By Lesaffre acquired vitamin K2 supplier NattoPharma last May. The acquisitioned brought under one roof Gnosis’s vitaMK7 natural vitamin K2 brand and NattoPharma’s MenaQ7 K2 MK-7 brand. With both K2 brands now under the Gnosis By Lesaffre banner, Marc Philouze, managing director of Gnosis By Lesaffre, said the firm has solidified its position as a market leader in K2.

Philouze said the company is “accelerating our investments in clinical trials to research and demonstrate vitamin K2 effects for the benefits of consumers.” The companies also announced a slate of recent studies on vitamin K2 ingredients, including one published last November showing that MenaQ7 supplementation may help subjects with chronic kidney disease when combined with phosphate binders.1
