Gnosis Adds China Office
The Italy-based ingredients provider has opened an office in Shanghai.
Gnosis S.p.A. (Desio, Italy) has opened a new branch office in Shanghai, citing interest in China as an emerging healthcare market.
Gnosis now has permanent presence in China, Italy, and the state of Pennsylvania.
Gnosis chief representative officer Carlo Brandizzi will head “Gnosis China.” The company already has business relationships with some of China’s leading industry players and is looking to increase its visibility in the region.
“Today, China is moving into a new era from export-oriented to import-oriented industrialization,” said Gnosis commercial director Paolo Malesani. “The healthcare sector is recognized as one of the key and critical factors for the future economic development in China. Meeting the healthcare domestic demand and consumption through value-added services is the priority, according to specific needs of each territory.”
