GMP Labs Earns Health Canada Reference Number

GMP Labs Inc. (Anaheim, CA) has successfully petitioned for a foreign site reference number from Health Canada. GMP Labs says the reference number gives the company the following advantages:

• Elimination of the need for GMP Labs to submit the same or similar Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) information to multiple Canadian importers.

• Elimination of the need for Health Canada to review GMP evidence for the company submitted by multiple Canadian importers.

• Increased efficiency in assessment of the company’s license applications

• Ability for foreign manufacturers, packagers, and labels of natural health products to submit information regarding GMP compliance directly to health Canada.
