Glanbia Acquires Aseptic Beverages Specialist

Nutritional ingredients and premixes firm Glanbia plc (Fitchburg, WI) has acquired Aseptic Solutions USA (Corona, CA), a manufacturer of shelf-stable, high-acid beverages made with aseptic technology. Aseptic’s business will be integrated into Glanbia’s Ingredient Technologies unit at its Fitchburg headquarters.

The company aims to grow its capabilities as a turnkey development partner for beverages. “With this new capability [from the acquisition], along with our extensive portfolio of nutritional and functional ingredients, manufacturing expertise, and legacy of innovation, we are well positioned to help our customers grow and expand their business,” said Jerry O’Dea, president and CEO of Glanbia Nutritionals Ingredient Technologies, in a press release.
