FrieslandCampina Acquires Majority Stake in Alaska Milk Corp.

The dairy cooperative now holds 60.7% of shares in Alaska Milk Corp.

FrieslandCampina (Amersfoort, the Netherlands) has acquired 60.7% of shares in Alaska Milk Corp. (Makati City, Philippines), making FrieslandCampina a majority stakeholder. The title comes at the price of 227 million Euros.

In acquiring the Filipino dairy ingredients supplier, FrieslandCampina expands on what is already a significant presence in Asian markets, including Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, Vietnam, India, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
