To answer concerns with yeast and mold contamination in dairy products, Chr. Hansen is introducing FreshQ cultures. The cultures, can be added with a manufacturer’s starter culture, and they should effectively reduce risks of yeast and mold contamination, which are serious concerns when heat is involved in the supply chain for dairy products.
FreshQ cultures are a clean-label ingredient solution suitable for yogurt, sour cream, and other fermented dairy products. These cultures are up for the Dairy Innovation Award at Fi Europe.
