CHS Inc. (St. Paul, MN), a Fortune 100 cooperative comprising farmers, ranchers, and co-ops across the United States, has signed an agreement to acquire soy protein supplier Solbar (Ashdod, Israel). CHS anticipates acquiring 100% of Solbar shares for a purchase price of approximately $133 million. The deal is scheduled to be complete in the first quarter of 2012.
