Colloïdes Naturels and Bio Serae Become Nexira

Starting in November, Colloïdes Naturels International (Rouen, France) and Bio Serae Laboratories (Bram, France) will be jointly renamed Nexira. In 2008, the two companies began working together under the Iranex group.

Colloïdes Naturels is a leading supplier of acacia gum and various emulsifiers, texturizing agents, and other nutraceutical and botanical ingredients. Bio Serae specializes in natural extracts and nutraceutical ingredients, including several innovative branded ingredients.

Nexira has announced plans to open up a plant in Ghana. The company also reports plans for North American and European acquisitions to happen within the next two years.
